What an extraordinary day! It didn't start off that way. I completed a normal Friday for me. Worked both jobs and came home to relax. Then I got a call from Eve. She's a retired published model that keeps my calendar and offers me so much help while learning the ropes. Anyway, I photographer she had been speaking with had an opening that evening and was wondering if I could come down. With Eve very sternly explaining to me what a great opportunity this was I got off my tush and got my things together.
We arrived at Midwest Railway. A train affectionately named "Mr. Baxter" was the stage for my first professional shoot. He was built in 1924 and from what I could tell perfectly preserved. It was a bit intimidating at first. Yet, once I settled in Mr. Baxter had a calming affect on me. We developed a relationship. He'd encourage me with his strong and masterful presence. I would do my best to add delicate beauty to his commanding nature. My supporting cast was marvelous, although it was still hard for me to consider myself the "star" of the show. I was completely in awe of Mr. Baxter for the entirety of the shoot. However, Eve was right there helping me along and the photographer was more than patient and accommodating. I can't think of a better location for my first professional shoot.

You're headed for great things young lady!
